FDO Short Day Trade

I Called to short FDO at 9:56 and called it again at 10:01 to short it below 62.2. I shorted it starting at 62.3 and added to the position below 62.2 twice and exited close to the whole number of 61. Check out how well this trade worked out in a short time of 15 mins.

This is how you play and gain from short movement by sizing it correctly and exiting and protecting at whole numbers.

BBBY Short Day Trade

Played BBBY short day trade today. Called it on stocktwits and twitter as the trade was formed at 9:31 and said short it below 71.25.. awesome rewards. This is one of my strategy that I play daily. This is called the 5 min power bar continuation play that you can see on the charts and on the dvd where I have explained this strategy

RKUS Swing Play

I like RKUS here as it just broke the 200 day moving average on the daily chart as shown. There was volume with this break out. It will stabilize here before moving up again. There is a 16 key support area and I think it will be able to go higher from here. Has 20% potential upside to targets over 18.

WFM Swing Play

WFM swing is not yet ready but one can start to buy small at the 200 day moving average level. It has to go above 55 and has to hold the support line. IT has resistance all the way till 60. Once that is cleared, it has a potential to go higher. Target is 65 which is about 20% upside from here.

ZION Swing

ZION looks at the verge of a break out. If it goes above the 30 resistance level and holds it with volume, one can see an upward move. But holding it with volume is the key, else it may just have a false break out and can come back to the 28-30 region.

Earnings Play - Risk of keeping stocks overnight

It is rewarding and one can find themselves at a big loss if one keeps a stock overnight during its earnings. NFLX has done very well during it's earnings but look at BBBY today and you will see it has fallen over 9% pre market and if you had the stock before the earnings, you just lost a big amount.

I do not like to hold stocks overnight especially if it is close to the earnings period. I am a pure day trader who also does swing positions but not close to the earnings calendar.
