Small blimp in a giant company... will it transform the music industry with this purchase...There are many players in this industry and it will end up with the eco-system people have. Apple is well positioned with eco system, internationally GOOG is well positioned but there are a lot of piracy overseas.. interesting battle.

NKE has a good future

Could not agree more, even technically above 80 is a clear breakout. The stock has been at this level, consolidating for a while. I think this stock will do good in short term and longer term horizon. I like it and is a buy above 80

Cola wars - PEP vs KO

Nice article and well written. I agree that PEP vs KO, PEP is better positioned for growth overseas than KO. It is at an all time high so I will not be putting more $$ at this level but any pullback is always a welcome buy to accumulate for later.

MCD has lost its appeal

True it is losing appeal and market share in US, but at the same time, there is huge line for MCD overseas. It will be a while before we can write this stock off. Growth wise it may not happen. I do think that in-spite of the overseas growth, this is still a sell.

CREE long play
I called out CREE long on twitter and stocktwits at 9:32 am. I got in with a very small size looking at the 1 min and the daily chart. I quickly added to the position after the 1st 5 min when I saw the stock was holding. I exited above the whole number of 53. Awesome trade that lasted less than 12 minutes. Made over $400 on just one trade. Nice way to begin the long weekend.

KMB vs CLX - which is better?

This is what I think of KMB, I had commented on the comparison between KMB and CLX.
Good comparison between 2 similar stocks. I generally do not buy such retail stocks but these are good to be in the portfolio, it gives some good balance and some stability especially when the blue chip stocks show volatility. Both are kind of consolidating at this level, one can buy but do not expect immediate returns. This will grow slowly due to the nature of the business.
